The development of the wireline memory thermometer inside the existing slots of a wireline logging head has been a challenging road.

When you consider that the T-1000 digital thermometer has to be the same size as the original mercury thermometer housing, it will become apparent how difficult it is to get a battery, memory, electronics and temperature sensor into this space, whilst maintaining mechanical integrity. The upside to these hurdles is a unique invention, with a patent granted today.
